Complete Dentures

Complete dentures replace an entire set of teeth. Many people receive an “immediate” set of dentures until more fitting “conventional” dentures are made. Once more permanent dentures have been made after the mouth has healed, they will be placed in the person's mouth to give the person a new beautiful set of teeth to eat and smile with.

Partial Dentures

When only some teeth are extracted or missing, partial dentures can be made. Partial dentures that are removable are often attached to a base mimicking gums which hold to the mouth with metal frames. If partial dentures are fixed, they often consist of a bridge which places crowns on either side of the missing tooth and then places an artificial tooth in the missing space. The bridge is then attached to your mouth permanently through cementing or affixing to your jawbone or gums.
